Between 2011 and 2014, Tanya Jumroon and then-husband Paul Jumroon and other associates fraudulently obtained E-2 investment visas to entice four cooks from Thailand to the United States to work in restaurants the Jumroons owned, Curry in a Hurry in Lake Oswego, and Teriyaki Thai in Ridgefield, prosecutors said. The Jumroons have since sold the businesses.
